David White is a Creative Director and Film Director with 30+ years experience, most recently as the Global CD of Huawei in China. Prior to this, he was CD of Global Marketing at HTC in Taiwan, the ECD of Scanad Africa and helped to establish the WPP start-up JayGrey. That’s off the back of a career as a Creative/Film Director working extensively throughout the Asia Pacific. It certainly helped that he was inducted into the Cannes/Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase after becoming an A Student at NYU Film School. David is in a rare category of creatives who can write, art direct, design, draw, film and edit, as well as do packaging design, 3D rendering and even computer game development.

Pablo Schaffner received his Associate Diploma of Graphic Design at The Design Centre (Enmore SIT) in 1994. As a junior in his first job, Pablo was surrounded by a wild bunch of young artists and design veterans who were abundantly influential. Three years later, Pablo landed a job at The Project Group in Sydney, designing and producing press kits and POS for Toyota and Lexus. Pablo has spent most of his career in Design, Finished Artist and Art Director roles at big name agencies like M&C Saatchi, George Patterson Y&R, Clemenger, Ogilvy and Leo Burnett.

Jo Mufti is a Medical Writer with over 8 years experience in health communications. Over the years, Jo has worked with a number of medical communication agencies in Sydney. She also has experience writing for not-for-profit and government healthcare organisations. Jo enjoys the challenge of turning complex medical information into clear, audience-appropriate content. She has worked on several successful medical educational programs and promotional campaigns across many therapeutic areas. Jo completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Science from the University of Sydney.

Russell Smyth graduated from UNSW with a Science Degree majoring in Biology, spending a few years teaching high school science before escaping into advertising as a copywriter thanks to a part-time gig as a successful comedy writer. He became CD of Batey Kazoo in 1998 working with clients like the ABC, Audi and the Federal Government on apprenticeships teenage drinking and illicit drugs. In 2005 he joined the Campaign Palace, responsible for Pfizer consumer healthcare brands: Benadryl, Codral, Sudafed, Mylanta, and Zyrtec (at the same time, creating the award-winning TV comedy, Chandon Pictures). In 2010 he became a CD at Ogilvy working on Telstra, Kimberly Clark, Nestle, NSW Drink Driving ‘Plan B’ and the Federal Government’s digital “My Health Record” launch.

Dr. Cat Panwar is a strategically-minded Medical Writer with 10+ years of experience and a passion for improving the public’s understanding of the health industry. After completing her BSc (Hons) PhD in Molecular and Bio-chemical Parasitology, she went on to finish AWARD school and lead some of Australia’s most scientifically-renowned healthcare agencies. Cat considers herself an integrated Medical Copywriter capable of creating integrated multi-channel communications including impactful data-driven medical communications solutions.

Marc Law is driven by a strong belief that ideas have the power to transform lives and business. He endeavours to improve the quality of healthcare communications by creating original and insightful integrated campaigns. An awarded ideas person and creative problem solver, Marc has achieved great results for his clients. With over 35 years in healthcare art direction across consumer and ethical brands, he’s developed and implemented concepts for some of the largest pharmaceutical companies including Astra Zeneca, Roche, Sanofi, Pfizer, Novartis, Mundipharma, Abbott Nutrition, 3M and Syngenta, building an experience base that also includes rural chemistry and consumer services.

Stephen Rogers (better known as ‘Sven’) is a Graphic Designer and Finished Artist with over 27 years experience. Sven has worked on campaigns across a varied range of industries including healthcare, pharmaceutical, banking, building, education, hospitality, tourism and retail. His reputation has made him the go-to-guy for such agencies as George Patterson Y&R, BMF, Idea Works, Leo Burnett, Ursa Clemenger, Saatchi & Saatchi, Healthcare and many more. While Sven’s passion resides in design and artwork he has held the position of Studio Manager and Production Manager for a number of agencies.

Elena Nikolaou/Comninos is a passionate Graphic Designer and Finished Artist with over 27 years experience, 12 of those specialising in healthcare advertising. She has worked in Australia and overseas with many local and global clients. Her experience ranges from print production and television graphics to direct marketing and advertising. And with a Degree in Industrial Design, she also has capabilities in packaging design and is extremely proficient working on complicated projects.

Kate Skinner/Barnet has an exceptionally accurate eye for fine detail. Graduating with a Diploma in Professional Editing and Proofreading, she has gained accreditation from the AFA for Ethics at Work and accreditation for Graphic Design from the University of Canberra. Kate has worked as a professional Proofreader for over 10 years and has extensive experience in proofreading documents for a range of clients including healthcare, finance and community services. Kate is integral in the agency’s “Last Look” protocol.

Philip Sheldon has a background in strategic brand planning, spanning both London and Sydney. He was Chief Strategy Officer at Leo Burnett and sat on the Worldwide Planning Board of that agency. He was also the Brand Planner for the Sydney Olympic Games 1995-2000 working on every aspect of the event. His pharmaceutical experience spans brand development work for GE Health, Sanofi Aventis, Abbott Nutrition, the Ingham Health Institute, the Kirby Institute, the Mater Hospital and Uniting Care. He has conducted research with doctors, pharmacists, radiologists, medical academics and hospital administrators and was a final stage judge for the Australian Effie awards 2009-2019.
